i'm so horrible at titles. i would prefer to leave all of the titles as "untitled" but then i would lose track of numbers.

anyway, i feel that this is isn't a portrait, but rather the manifestation of an idea. That idea maybe being that there is something ethereal and beautiful, yet dark, that is more powerful than humans. There is a sort of looming presence in the photo, but not necessary something evil. The glamour in the photo makes the idea beautiful and not so much the model, but in a photogenic way, she still pulls off the black paint. I don't know, i haven't really gotten around to thinking about this much, its just what i get from looking at the photo.

did this for my color photo class as the assignment was nuetrals. We could choose from white, silver, or grey, but i decided to do black! ha!

I think one of the most interesting things about this piece is that her eyes almost look like little earths - with the colors and the beautiful waves.
It's such a fantastic photo!
